Hello Mountaineers! My name is Bradley Coniglio. I transferred to this wonderful university from Central Piedmont Community College in 2012 after completing my Associates Degree in International Business. I am currently majoring in Business Management and I serve as the President of the Walker College of Business Transfer Student Association. At the beginning of my experience here, knowing how and where to get my involvement started proved to be a difficult task. Between the abundance of clubs and organizations on campus and the struggle of settling into my routine, I often found myself feeling overwhelmed. Once I did take the leap and got involved with clubs of my aligned interests, I realize how inviting the students and faculty are to transfer students. Taking that leap has proved to be one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.
As a transfer student here at Appalachian State University, you are equipped with the resources, opportunities, and connections you need to be successful academically and carve out your future career opportunities. Most importantly, you are equipped with a choice: acclimate yourself to this change alone or seize the opportunities available to you. In just a year and a half, the resources across campus have helped me land the summer internship of my dreams, secure a career after graduation, and meet some amazing people that I am honored to call friends for the rest of my life. Greatness is within reach here at Appalachian State, leave no doubt by getting involved, getting connected, and unlocking your true potential! The Mountaineer family awaits you, join us as together we rise and make dreams come true!
