Housing

A big part of being a Mountaineer is the experience of living in Boone. Transfer students less than a year out of high school are required to live on campus. Students out of high school longer than a year have the choice of applying to live on-campus or finding an off-campus rental. Click here to learn more!

Kick Off Your Appalachian Experience!

There are many ways to orient yourself to Appalachian! Click here to register and learn more about orientation, webinars, T-POP (Transfer Pre-Orientation Program),  summer transition programs and Welcome Weekend activities.

Reverse Transfer

This program is for North Carolina Community College students who are close to completing their Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees when they transfer to Appalachian. Students may choose (if eligible) to work to complete their Associate's degree from their community college while taking coursework at Appalachian.
