Here are some helpful resources to get you started as a Mountaineer!
Beginner's Guide to App!
A new University means new terminology, policies, and procedures. To help new transfer students we have developed this Beginner's Guide to App.

They are available online or in-person. Check out our Transfer Student Mentors and feel free to contact them!
Faculty Transfer Mentors
Faculty Transfer Mentors develop supportive, academic relationships with new and current transfer students by providing help in understanding their curriculum and the student's remaining coursework as well as offering guidance, support, and referrals to campus resources.

Faculty and staff parking is available in numerous campus locations. Everyone must pay for and display a valid parking permit to park in campus lots. Find more information about permits here. View parking maps here. After 5pm and on weekends, the gates are lifted to restricted parking areas and students, faculty, staff and the public can park in those lots. Always be mindful of signage, as events and other circumstances can change, and some spaces remain restricted at all times.
For students living off campus who don't want the expense of a parking pass, AppalCart is a great FREE alternative. Look under the tab for Routes and Schedules for detailed maps, route summaries, and football route information. Students are also encouraged to download the app NextBus to track when your bus will arrive.
Need help finding your way around campus? Utilize the interactive campus map so you never get lost!
