Courses in Progress
Admitted students who have plans to take courses at another institution PRIOR to arriving at Appalachian (Courses In Progress) may request to have these courses added to their record through their MyMountaineer portal. Placing these courses on a student's record typically allows for more informed advising at time of orientation.
If you have never previously submitted a request to add Courses In Progress, then please log into your MyMountaineer portal and follow these instructions.
If you submitted Courses In Progress previously and would like to add another or request that one be removed/edited, then please log into your MyMountaineer portal and follow these instructions.
NOTE: If a student needs a CIP added or taken off URGENTLY (e.g., for registration purposes on Orientation day), then they should work with their advisor to email the appropriate contact in Transfer Admissions and Engagement.
