For on-campus housing, offers are made to students who apply early though they may not hear a decision for a few months. The availability is based on what space is open after returning and first-year students are confirmed so notices may go out as late as May/early summer for new fall students and November/December for new spring students. Appalachian does offer a residence hall just for transfer students! All decisions are sent through your Appalachian State email so make sure you check that frequently.
