The Transfer Core Diploma (44 Hour Core) will no longer be an option for North Carolina Community College students who began during the Fall 2014 semester or after. Those students who began prior to Fall 2014 and are currently enrolled in this diploma should continue until completion of the diploma and follow the steps below.
Completing the NCCC Transfer Core Diploma with a grade of "C" or above in ALL coursework assures that you will meet the lower level division general education requirements at ASU. This will allow you to move smoothly into your major coursework. Note: some general education requirements may still be required in the major.
Things to Do:
- Obtain the Transfer Core Diploma checksheet from your community college
- Access Program of Study in your intended ASU major.
- Once you have chosen a major to pursue at ASU we suggest you access the major checksheet to determine which general education courses are required in your major and use these courses whenever possible when completing the Transfer Core Diploma.
- Utilize our Transfer Guides to help you see how to stay on track and minimize your time to degree completion
