The Career and College Promise college transfer pathways are designed for high school juniors and seniors who wish to gain college credit while in high school to demonstrate transfer readiness. There are two college transfer pathways that provide tuition-free course credits toward the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science. Completion of either the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science (with a grade of "C" or better in all core coursework) will satisfy ALL lower level general education requirements.
For more information and pathway information, please visit the North Carolina community College Career & College Promise resource page.
For more information on meeting Appalachian's General Education requirements, please visit the General Education website and refer to the NCCC Cross-Referenced Checksheet (PDF, 125KB).
